Sec. 01 · Who we are

A founder-led firm with enterprise discipline

NextGen Technology LLC combines senior architecture, hands-on engineering, and plain communication for clients who need systems they can trust after launch.

01

Senior-led delivery

The person shaping the architecture stays close to the work, the tradeoffs, and the client conversation.

02

Production ownership

We design for deployment, monitoring, documentation, support, and handoff, not just the build milestone.

03

Clear technical scope

Requirements, acceptance criteria, integrations, and security expectations are written before they become expensive.

04

Practical AI judgment

AI is used where it can be grounded, evaluated, governed, and tied to a real workflow.

05

Plain communication

You get architecture decisions and delivery status in language your leadership and technical teams can both use.

06

Measurable outcomes

The work is judged by whether it improves reliability, speed, cost, compliance, or the user experience.

We bring enterprise-grade architecture discipline, from clear blueprints to governance and scalability, to organizations of all sizes, whether you're a mid-market business, a membership organization, a government agency, or a growing startup.

Sec. 02 · Our story

From developer to architect to founder

NextGen Technology LLC was founded by Tarek Hussein: technology leader, enterprise architect, and application development executive. He has spent his career building software, leading development teams, and helping organizations turn complex ideas into real systems that people can use.

Tarek started as a software developer. Over time his work expanded into architecture, technical leadership, product thinking, and business strategy: 20+ years across the software development life cycle, enterprise application development, cloud solutions, system integration, data-driven applications, security, and team leadership. That journey shaped a conviction that guides every engagement.

That conviction was earned on systems that had to work: enterprise platforms for a leading U.S. agricultural organization serving tens of thousands of members, data platforms for a GCC wealth and investment firm, real-time payment systems for a credit-union-focused fintech provider, citizen-facing platforms for government agencies, turbomachinery controls for oil and gas operations, and Sharia-compliant core banking for Islamic financial institutions.

Tarek holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and is currently pursuing his MBA. He has completed MIT Professional Education programs in Applied Generative AI for Digital Transformation and Applied Agentic AI for Organizational Transformation: training that frames AI not as a technology trend, but as a business transformation opportunity. His current focus is helping organizations become AI-ready through practical generative and agentic AI, workflow automation, responsible adoption, governance, and measurable business value.

Alongside NextGen Technology, he is the creator of CivicAlign, an AI-powered civic technology platform that makes legislation, elections, and public policy easier to understand. It reflects something he strongly believes: technology should make complex information more accessible, not more confusing.

NextGen Technology LLC brings that rigor and experience to clients who need flexible, high-quality solutions without the overhead of large consulting firms. The firm is founder-led: you work directly with the architect who designs and delivers your system, with the discipline you'd expect from a Fortune 500 environment and the agility of a boutique partner.

Sec. 05 · How we work

Four steps, from discovery to operation

We use the same delivery model across services so clients always know where the work stands and what evidence closes each phase.

  1. Discover

We understand the mission, the users, the existing systems, and the risks before proposing a build.

  2. Specify

We turn the work into written scope, acceptance criteria, architecture decisions, and delivery checkpoints.

  3. Build

We ship working software in inspectable increments and keep tradeoffs visible as the system takes shape.

  4. Operate

We launch with monitoring, runbooks, support, and a clear handoff path so ownership is never ambiguous.
